Happens a lot. I'd even wager it's a hacked account that was in a server you were in, got the member list, and got banned (thus having no server in common). If it's a legit request, that person can reach you elsewhere than a random discord friend request. You can delete it I'd say :D

If you're fine with playing the character (and waiting for catalyst charges), you can get the Mythic PvE skin pretty easily: either by doing M+2 and picking hero track in the vault, or by doing M+6 and above (hero track gear at the end). If you upgrade w/ valorstones, you can get both H and M colors

Probably more of a work-around than anything, but you can realm-transfer the character on a realm where the correct name is free and where you preemptively lock the wrong name yourself, you'll have to rename the transferred character on arrival. Now that warbands exist, this can be somewhat --
