Surely, as the definition of a millionaire must include the fact that they have an expensive lifestyle paid for by others less fortunate than themselves, the less of them we have to support the better? It is not possible to become that rich by honest toil.

Let us accept that the US don't want our goods and find other markets for them. Maybe set up an international item locator for components from other countries to help our own industry to survive this shift?. Alternative social media could be set up in Europe which would punish Trump's cronies

The Spectator has long been the voice of the Conservative party. With recent developments in the thinking of that party it is hardly surprising that it has also become the voice of the ghost of Joseph Goebbels as well.

They have twisted the English speaking body politic with lies and insinuations throughout my entire life. Now they are in positions of direct control. Maybe it will show the world just how evil they are and will trigger a turning away from their wicked influence. I hope.

Time to forbid any media outlet with more than, say, 2% of total national circulation being owned by anybody not paying UK taxes. The Mail is not British owned and not remotely patriotic. Add a law against MPs and parties accepting any money from overseas and a lot of this stuff would disappear. I

I wonder whether this protest is genuine or just one of many that are currently being worked up by opposition politicians and their media handlers. What next? Compensation for all those of my generation who had to pay taxes as we worked our apprenticeships while others got free university grants?

The British Empire was a racist endeavour like all empires. We were raised to regard other races as inferior because the only way thieves can do what they do is to regard their victims as having less value than themselves. Empires exist by theft.

Sadly our country has been a hotbed of racism ever since the British empire. We were raised with it. I have been lucky in that I have travelled and have a family who have made many interracial marriages but most are simply so parochial and frightened of the unknown.

Unfortunately they don't see him for what I think he is. A professional disrupter. I can't say whether he sells his services or does it from simple spite or even to make money on the markets by sowing chaos but I don't believe that he is ever genuine in what he says.

What are the policies of the right wing other than self-enrichment and being nasty to anybody not rich? (And the corollary of those two mental states which is a certain slowness to understand anything else and a desire to earn the praise of those even richer than themselves)
