I can’t believe in total I worked on 11 student films this year ranging from boom mic removal, background replacements / all sorts of cg integration while also staying well on-top of my university work … no wonder I’m so exhausted now that I’m on break lol

It’s wild to me how a good chunk of sets are entirely replaced because of artifacts,contiguity, extending the set etc and people just simply like to pretend it didn’t get replaced! So confusing as to why people ignore it all together

Just finished Arcane… need to reconnect with nature that was so well done

I’ll never understand the obsession with marketing a movie under the guise of using “no cgi” our job is to make the picture look completely real so if we did our job right you can’t tell!!!!

Every live action remake of an animated movie is a slap in the face not just as a consumer but on the creative side too; it’s definitely interesting to see the translation of animated to live action… but shot for shot redo of the original that was perfect? New stories can be made for the medium!

Arcane is such a beautiful show and a reminder that giving people enough time and paying people a living wage allows for artists to do their magic … crazy how that works

So happy to be on break so I can get back to playing stardew valley again- got to Ginger Island for the first time
