Please don't let them pass any form of bill that eliminates trans healthcare, i know ya'll don't care and see us as a wedge issue, but i can barely push myself forward at this point.

The curent republican plan would continue to leave people like me without access to healthcare. I almost am left wanting to just give up because it is clear people like me are an easy sacrifice for dems in this congress.

I already had to flee my home in TX, loving family and friends and move across the country to chicago to attempt to regain some form of normalcy and mental health to move forward with my life. Sadly, the continued cruelty, dehumanization and lack of empathy by this administration still haunts me

I just moved to chicago from houston, and here in chicago, businesses are locking their doors for the first time in fear of troops from tx / ice. This is not the america i grew up in anymore.

I left texas and my friends and family to move to chicago to get the hell away from tx politics and finally live a happier life in this beautiful, friendly and safe city. Now this is the shit they send over, i hate abbot so much right now.

I already moved from tx to chicago this week, despite having a supportive family/community there for basic human rights and medical care access as a transwoman, and the republicans are even trying to take thwas t moment of peace i finally obtained away too.

I ended up leaving texas for good this week to a new home in chicago. It was clear i would not be able to live in peace there and have access to medical care and a proper in state ID. Leaving texas was easily the best choice for me, as the government there is out of control.

I am terrified of everything going on, especially here in texas. I am leaving my supportive family and community behind to make Chicago my new home in a few days and you me some much needed hope for the future.

Political violence is terrible in any case. It is also exhausting, always feeling like the scapegoat of all of this by just being trans. Transition has put me more at peace with myself than ever in my life, leaving me a much better, more confident version of myself than when i was your HS classmate.
