It's dejecting. I'm not going to sit here and sulk about it. But some of us aren't sad because of what some right wingers tweeted. We are mourning the loss of friends, family, and a community that we can no longer recognize or trust

He is clearly exaggerating a bit. But I think you rly ignore the many Dems (especially those who grew up in the midwst conservative areas) who look at their friends and family and can only say "what the actual fuck". The GOP has a core base of voters that aren't maga but will nevr abandn the party.
