Along the way I've discovered that 1) I like painting portraits and 2) I'm ready to offer it as a commission 🩵 I'm only going to take on one client at a time and will work off of a waitlist if there's enough demand.

Feels like it's above freezing and the sun is out - time to soak up some vitamin D before starting work for the day

Just finished the second brother - now to paint the oldest brother.

Books finished so far in 2025 - murder mysteries & rom coms, that's about all my brain is going to be good for this year - maybe a few books translated from Japanese or Korean sprinkled in. Yes, I am a monster who recycles book jackets and leaves my hardcovers bare - they're more beautiful that way.

I read an entire book yesterday - so obviously I needed to carve out time today to pick up the sequel at my local bookstore. Now...I gotta go get the rest of my to-do list done so I can tuck into the book 📖
