This block was from a temple dedicated to New Kingdom (c. 1550–1069 BC) pharaoh Ramses II, but was found during excavation of Hellenistic period (332–31 BC) Kom el-Nugus, suggesting there was an earlier, New Kingdom settlement at the site #FindsFriday
