So a few weeks back, Rima Fand, got a random email from the Ki Smith Gallery in NYC asking if Luminescent Orchestrii would like to play. Rima told them, she wasn't sure and that we hadn't played together as a band in 15 years. So she wrote us and we all said, sure! Now we are rehearsing.. Dec 5! NYC

I love composing for the artist Swoon. Those animations are life sized btw. She is one of my two favorite living visual artists.

and... they won the Orchestra Cup at Lincoln Center! This piece got best original selection. They rocked it.

They rocked it!! Lexington High School Chamber Orchestra won 2025 Orchestra Cup at Lincoln Center and my piece "Kendrick" (yes, that Kendrick) got a trophy for best original selection. Their amazing director and conductor Rachel Jayson commissioned this piece from me.
