Seriously! Everything else is so good that the text to speech voice stuff sticks out like a sore thumb with how bad it sounds in comparison to the excellent level of craft displayed in the rest of the game. There's not that much voice work in the game, just knock it out in a few afternoons!

I kinda feel like Doc doesn't really like the idea of working as an NBA coach anymore and is doing what he can do get axed (or, ya know, just isn't particularly competent in the year 2025).

I love nothing more in that game than putting up the shield and staggering the fallingstar beast when it does its charge. Nothing can defeat big boi bird!

While the AI voices are a bummer...the core game is really fun, map design is great, and the proximity chat makes for a really fun dynamic. Been utterly shocked at how friendly/wholesome the community has been so far while playing solo.

Really just feels like the guy isn't allowed to play defense. Getting a rookie whistle.

I really feel like once they handed the game off to The Chinese Room, they should have changed the name, but I know that's not how video game publishers work.

He's been sneaky good in preseason leading the 2nd unit. Still a bit too small defensively, but he works and just does stuff.

The issue is that Shams ran with the language that Beasley and Rozier were no longer "targets" of the investigation, and conflated that with them being "cleared", when that is extremely not what that means. Because Shams is a clown with no actual journalistic skills.

I thought it was fun the first handful of attempts. After my 10th death at the 3rd gauntlet, I was no longer having fun (I fucking hate conchflies)

Boss fight ended up being pretty chill compared the absolute meanness that preceded it. Team Cherry chose violence with those gauntlet fights, easily the most frustrating part of the game for me.

That fucking runback/gauntlet/boss was one of two times I wanted to fly to Adelaide to get some answers in-person from those fuckers. (The other is on Act 3)

I haven't been a fan of Doris (feel like she has the usual issue of many national analysts, they don't *really* watch more than a few teams regularly), but by far the biggest issue was RJ. Would have much rather they replaced him with Legler instead of Doris.

It seems to me like this is pretty close to a market rate for a very good two-way forward who is just below All-Star level given how in demand "good shooter who defends multiple positions competently" is as a skill set?
