The Aberfan disaster, on October 21, 1966, cost the lives of 116 children and 28 adults when a coal tip engulfed Pantglas School.
We remain committed to remembering those who died, and our thoughts are as ever with those who lost loved ones.

Three men in their twenties sustained injuries and were taken to hospital. One of the men has since died.
