I did also listen to the first 6 Dungeon Crawler Carl books. Ok let me start by saying I’m not a LotRPG girlie. But these books are sooooo good. And the narrator is incredible. Maybe the best audiobook experience I’ve had outside of the Locked Tomb series.

4) I loved Fury Road but reading what it took to make the film has endeared me to it for life. George Miller really is a mad, wonderful genius. The amount artistry, skill, and absolute suffering that went into this film by every single person working on it is astounding

3) an older book, but I had never read it. This book spurred a months-long hyperfixation on Mt. Everest and the people who have died tried to climb it. The way Everest is treated is absolutely disgusting. This book was a thrilling read.

2) each character in this faux-interview is voiced by a different actor, giving it a Behind The Music vibe in the best way. The TV show was not good, the book was very good!

1) a history of cancer and treatment, which was extra special for me bc I am an oncology nurse, but truly such a gripping book! Whatever the audiobook equivalent of a page turner is, this book was that!
