one of my personal projects has me diving so far beyond my own body of knowledge that every problem in the space seems to be such that you have to be an expert in a dozen different things to even come up with a terrible workaround

Legacy Update has significantly expanded its archive of the Microsoft Download Center all the way back to 2012. It now indexes 41,000 downloads, of which over half have been deleted by Microsoft.

it's just occurred to me that I don't actually know what a Dutch accent sounds like because my friends from the Netherlands have completely different accents from one another and when I was there for a week I mostly interacted with immigrants from Asia and other parts of Europe
