There were a lot of autographed photos by WW1 and WW2 veterans (a lot of 617 Sqn as you'd expect) as well as original artwork adorning the walls of the Officers Mess. Plus all the silverware that came out on special occasions. I wonder what happened to them?

I was at Lincoln 99-02 (last year of De Montfort) saw the cross-over. The only reason I went there so I could be in Bomber country and near Dunholme Lodge! Do they still use Free School Lane?

Hate to be pessimistic, but I could see Turkey walking away from Nato commitments should article 5 be triggered due to it's quiet proximity to Moscow.
We need an Allience that uses the broad optics of Nato in place as a real and ready Plan B.

Question: Can I assume architectural drawings/plans for cathedrals included ornamental/decorative carvings? Would these have included gargoyles?
If not, then considering religious symbolic meaning to much of a building like a cathedral, how come gargoyles weren't as curated?

Like others have said, I too was surprised by the silence from your LBC colleagues. This was newsworthy for the circumstances of your previous interview and your then sudden disappearance. If LBC can, and did, gag them, then how can any of them point the finger at other journalists or organisations?

My gt uncle at DL, there for 7 months, saw 91 crews come and go (FTR/finish tour/posted off/sick) That's a lot of men with stories shared, some exaggerated and shared again. These later became examples of their typical experiences to illustrate to the short attention span of later generations.
