Rigid wars tend to be more balanced in terms of player power, as having set times to muster forces gives more heads up for when actions are occuring. This comes with the terrible downside of extremely slow conflicts, taking weeks to months, unless one battle is enough to break confidence.

There are a few issues with each of these.

Anarchic wars tend to be fast paced, reliant more on skill and open schedules. While they are very memorable, they can also be unfair to the playerbase, as only a select few players typically dominant in PvP and with fully open schedules decide wars.

1. Scheduling

A big issue with wars is that scheduling across timezones is HELL, and I believed that people are willing to help schedule. This is NOT the case. so the new systems scheduling will likely be set times, most likely 3 battles across the weekend, each best for a different timezone
