You don't get to equate these groups while assigning all responsibility to the side you KNOW is the safe and reasonable one.
It's an example of liberals just being a more polished right wing. They're using the same "Tell the made up story loud enough to drown out the truth" tactic as the far right.

"The far left and far right are just as bad--" They are literally, statistically, verifiably not and I'm sick of letting liberals pretend they don't know that. They absolutely know that, it's why they feel safe openly blaming the left for the right's violence and failures.

The political right lies to try and force a narrative that aligns with its ideology. The political left responds to what is actually happening and adjusts its ideology accordingly. You disagreeing with their conclusion is a separate issue from how the very approach is structured.

How many times does the left have to be demonstrably correct while the right crashes and burns in its own lies and ineptitude for you to pull your head out of your ass and acknowledge that these opposing sides are not "basically the same"? They're opposites down to their very frameworks.
