I read the Atlantic article.
All I see is TWC calling out Rufo for hypocrisy.
That does grant Rufo agency: it holds Rufo responsible for being inconsistent.
Where does the claim about lacking a theory of mind come from?

I think this will be great for the users. The bots can talk to each other on Facebook and the users can return to the real world. 😁

Many years ago, driving south on NJ tpk. Big plane on final aproach to Newark, flying north, low, parallel to the tpk. Parallax made it look like the plane was stationary: just hovering in air.
Really striking effect.

Biggest practical effect may be dealing with orgs (like health ins) that use SSN for ID, but SSN isn’t supposed to be used for ID, per the SSA.

SSN is for paying taxes. Children born during Trump admin will be no more than 4 when he leaves office. 4-year olds don’t have earned income, so who cares if they have SSN?

Population/legislature numbers from other countries suggests the legislature grows with the cube-root of the population. 335M ^ 1/3 ~ 695 districts

US / Wyoming ~ 335M/577K ~ 581 districts

The house district size should be no larger than the smallest state.

“Abandon” is a weasel word here. What was the D position during the campaign? What new/different position are D’s (who? Name names) proposing now?

It's not just the internet: it's the entire language of political discourse. Geoffrey Nunberg wrote a book about it in 2006.

We don't do it for Trump or the Republicans. We do it for ourselves. Snubbing Trump accomplishes nothing and erodes our own commitment to process and civility.

The conception of the objective reality of the elementary particles has thus evaporated in a curious way, not into the fog of some new, obscure, or not yet understood reality concept, /1
