Yesterday my friend, Maria, a vocal critic of bad governance in Tanzania, was taken by armed people in Nairobi, where she lives and works. She was released late last night. A while back, Ugandan opposition leader, Besigye, was also abducted and extradited to Uganda where he is now on trial. Sad 😢
