Which teacher? Which school? There is no evidence this ever really happened. It really feels like finely crafted ragebait to elicit this exact response. Unfortunately when Mr. Takei posts it, it gives legitimacy. While it could be true, we should be evaluating such articles with more scrutiny.

At a school that isn't named and by a teacher that isn't named. The article states numerous times that this just popped up with no additional information. I may not even be real and people are getting all riled up by it. Please verify that it is real before just believing it because it is on clip.

I ended up reading it in two grades. Once in elementary school and once in middle school. If there was analytic discussion involved, I was not aware. But then again I was not aware of a good portion of what went on around me. Regardless, It definitely stuck with me for life.
