Hello again bluesky! I haven't spent time here, sorry to say, but I also haven't spent time on any socials. I posted the only photos I've taken in the past 2 months on threads, with a bunch of blah about why (short story: covid) and though I'm not proud of them, here are my first photos from 2025!
A retro bin for cigarette butts made to look like a happy person with a hat. It's made out of a metal hollow post with a mouth cut into it as the bin, and thin metal arms, with one pointing to its mouth. It also has a no smoking sign on the post below the mouth. It's painted bright red, to make it stand out and to mentally associate it with fire engines (I assume). A fern leaf reaching out over other fern leaves Australian Holly leaves with a blurred forest background A fan palm branch half drenched in sunlight, half in shade from taller trees.

Cactus Spoods from this afternoon's wander with Bugfriend. There's a local park down here in S. Florida which has a field full of cacti, and the cacti are full of Phidippus regius. Needed them this weekend. 💜
