the corpsebearer is trying to play the role of "savior" despite clancy being "dead" in their arms. he's suffering trying to bare the burden of clancy's corpse. thats why the christ iconography is there. also keep in mind, i am not christian so i may be missing a few things here but still-

sure! most elements in that drawing have to do with the lore for example, clancy's head is a carnation (he is decaying). i wanted something that had the emotion of "awesome" but with its secondary, not as common meaning. something so grand and powerful that its overwhelming
