Re: platforms getting the lyrics wrong. I have loved studying Taylor's growing use of enjambment and punctuation that completely change the meaning of lyrics I've memorized and loved. Platforms never cross reference that specificity.

Finally watched Fate of Ophelia mv (lovely!) and was like huh... is that stage play showgirl a Sarah Bernhardt reference? Cause that would be really interesting. Not just bc one of the most famous theater actresses played Ophelia, but she also sculpted Ophelia. A real Renaissance woman.

If I had to make a comparison between source and... perhaps homage? It's how Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott's collage style (also seen from Rep) distorts and splices up the image. How so many people have said something feels "off" about this image. It feels intentionally disrupting a perfect veneer.
