But the reality is there are people willing to pay these prices for the USMNT/Argentina/etc games. SOME of these prices will look comical when they drop to $20 on game day, which also happens a lot here, but not all of them, and not the ones that matter the most to local fans. It fucking sucks

I really want this to be true but I don’t think it’s that simple (at least for USMNT games). NBA/NHL finals games sell out instantly with the cheapest tickets at $800, and ticket resale infrastructure is so ingrained you can sell even non-transferable tickets. No question it’s a rip off (cont)

I really want this to be true but I don’t think it’s that simple (at least for USMNT games). NBA/NHL finals games sell out instantly with the cheapest tickets at $800, and ticket resale infrastructure is so ingrained you can sell even non-transferable tickets. No question it’s a rip off (cont)

Is it so hard to say that masculinity is the same as it’s always been? None of the following have changed:
- do genuine work to earn the respect of those around you
- be kind to the needy and vulnerable
- own up to your mistakes
- enjoy the company of others
- fight for those who are dear to you
