It’s meant a huge amount to me! First book where I really saw my chronic illness reflected. It was published when I was just starting to realise the miraculous recovery I’d been planning on wasn’t coming, and helped me come to terms with trying to live a good life alongside illness

So I found the reddit group, via which I realised ARCs are out in the world, so I got the ARC…and OMG!!! Amazing! Loved it so much
(also one theory was spot on, except for how the whole thing ended. I’m still convinced the other one will pop up at some point in the future but that may be delusion 🤣)

Very beautiful read! I’m convinced everyone feels melancholy at Christmas and needs the light in the dark, it just depends how willing they are to admit it
