Did they simply mean ‘learn when you play? Or ‘Watch your back, kids!’? Chilling.

(And girls!)

It’s only ever about the ROI. And power and subjugation.

I feel sick. And under that nausea, utterly f*cking red-hot furious. Get rid!! This world is dangerous enough for women.

Somehow I knew this was France the minute I glimpsed it. I wonder where exactly? Var region?

I think about this a lot. Remember when we had a meritocracy? And you’re right - we admired people for their good values and deeds. What a world, eh. Social media and the media generally has a lot to answer for. These dangerous people should be no where near positions of power.

It’s amazing to me that people think someone can be smart when they exhibit no emotional intelligence whatsoever.

Reminds of the time Tony Blair justified the Iraq War with “God will judge me”.

Nothing lasts forever. But it can feel like it.

Thanks for pointing me in this direction! I support them too but haven’t been paying as much attention - a self preservation thing. I’ll look into it. Thank you x

Yeh, but maybe any and every woman who chooses the bear gets it?

I’ve been pondering your point about local face to faces … I’ve said for years that it has to now be about localism but sometimes it’s knowing where to start?!

Friend!! Hello! 💚

And shoring up and creating power, with empty promises to distil it to those who have had very little or none. It’s intoxicating and it’s an indictment.

And the many people who sit directly beside and behind him. Some might even say it’s a whole system.

They are lost leaders. And lost leaders are no leaders at all.
January 10, 2026 at 9:39 AM
Yes, spot on. It suits them. And they’ll throw their toys out if their play space is threatened. But… Tough.
January 10, 2026 at 9:29 AM
Fair point! 😆 I think self-censorship is dangerous, but we have to change the language and the government has to recognise this. Censorship is an emotive, ambiguous thing. Musk et al hide behind it because it helps them retain their power without responsibility. This is about responsible publishing.
January 10, 2026 at 9:20 AM
Of course not. It’s power. And yes, you have the right to speak/express yourself but you don’t have the right to be taken seriously or even heard. I’m not one for censorship at all but when responsible publishing is tossed out or has no place, intervention is likely required.
January 10, 2026 at 9:13 AM
Exactly. It’s not even about censorship. It’s about making responsible, rational and legal editorial decisions. When you’ve a nefarious agenda, a narcissistic ego, a mass comms platform AND people question it, it will feel like censorship - and you’ll convince others of it too.
January 10, 2026 at 9:07 AM
Deliberately confusing the meanings of censorship and responsible publishing. He’s conveniently forgotten the long history of mass communications, when editors and publishers were accountable for what was shared, amplified and stated. And often worked hard to make the world a better place.
