As we get this far into the Trump torture aka “presidency,” we look back and still ask why he wanted to call it the Gulf of America, except as a distraction from the Epstein Files?

I have to assume that this rejected overturning was due to Grindr threatening to release the list of all the Republican lawmakers with profiles.

And no shame if they want to use Grindr. The shame is for judging everyone else.
November 10, 2025 at 3:13 PM
The sheer level of effort that Trump’s cronies have put into defending the Epstein List is nothing short of Herculean.

And why, you may ask?

Trump has never had to face real consequences. This would force him to do so. But we all knew this. They are sacrificing everything to hide it.
November 10, 2025 at 3:08 PM
Absolute insanity.

The whole Trump administration’s plan can be summarized with either flying by the seat of their pants, Project 2025, or going with whoever paid Trump personally the most through his crypto.

This behavior is embarrassing, and we deserve better.
BARTIROMO: How do you want this to play out once the ACA subsidies expire?

DR OZ: We have lots of great ideas, but I don't want to show our cards. As the president often says, why would I telegraph to you what we're gonna do?

It’s prediction time! Let’s see how this turns out:

I predict that Grijalva will get sworn in by a judge or otherwise, and Mike Johnson will try to get the Supreme Court to override it.

The decision of the Supreme Court will depend on how quickly the Epstein Files are released.

1) Vote! If you are from Tennessee, make sure your voice is heard.

2) I’m surprised there aren’t more efforts to sway more republicans to sign the petition regardless. The idea of barely scraping by with one vote is very cinematic, but we could do better.
November 10, 2025 at 1:27 PM
Interesting how people continue to talk like the votes are set for the Epstein files being released, when the petition just needs one more signature.

Not to say Grijalva’s vote doesn’t matter, but I’m surprised the democrats haven’t been working toward getting another vote outside of that.
November 10, 2025 at 1:23 PM
8 Democrats voting against the interest of the party is highly suspicious.

None of those being up for reelection is even more suspicious.

To those suspecting Schumer of setting this up, it’s pretty obvious. They took the fall so Schumer could be the AIPAC shill he always is. Primary Schumer!

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

We all see the irony of withholding SNAP funding, yet releasing help funds for another country.

And we all know why Trump is doing it.

No one is surprised, because this is how he has approached everything. SNAP benefits don’t help Trump personally, but Argentina might when he decides to flee.
November 8, 2025 at 12:44 PM
In case you forgot, Adelita Grijalva STILL hasn’t been sworn in.

This is beyond political misconduct. Mike Johnson must face consequences. Period.
November 8, 2025 at 2:53 AM
I could talk about how Trump is to blame for all the mess, and how he’s living consequence free in a bubble. And all of that would be true.

But he’s not alone. JD Vance, Stephen Miller, Tom Homan…the list goes on. These are the people whispering in his ear, and they need real consequences too.

Yes. This. Say it louder.
Starving people is violence. Intentionally starving civilians is a war crime.

Trump is committing war crimes against Americans.

For any who said they voted for Trump because they “wanted a better economy” I’m calling BS on their reasoning.

He didn’t give a better economy in his first term, expert economists said the economy would tank with Trump, and Trump had a history of bad business decisions/bankruptcy.
November 7, 2025 at 12:11 PM
There are days I dream of living somewhere that my vote will count even half as much as someone that lives in a “swing state.”

This is why the electoral college must go. No one person’s vote should be more valuable than any other. Period.

GOP talking points worth revisiting part 40:
“If [so-and-so] is elected they’ll try to take our guns!”-
In the long distant future, a gun ban may come about. But right now, the only ones taking away people’s rights are republicans.

As the “party of freedom,” why is that, exactly?

GOP talking points worth revisiting part 39:
“If we enact any socialist policies, it’s just like paying everyone the same for doing different jobs”-
There’s a lot of misinformation here. Socialism is just the government providing benefits so everyone has a reasonable starting point. That’s all.

GOP talking points worth revisiting part 38:
“Illegal immigrants are a burden on our healthcare system.”-
The US has a minimal amount of care given in free clinics, but otherwise most of the healthcare is insurance-based.

Those without citizenship have no distinct advantage for cost.

GOP talking points worth revisiting part 37:
“‘Trump may not have kept all his promises, but Harris would have been worse.”-
Objectively, Trump has had worse poll ratings than Biden or Obama across the board.

In fact, the only recent president that comes close is Trump himself in his prior term.

GOP talking points worth revisiting part 36:
“‘Obamacare’ is a costly system that is ruining our healthcare.”-
The ACA, otherwise called “Obamacare,” helps lower premiums for everyone, and overall costs you less than it would otherwise.

That said, it isn’t as good a deal as universal healthcare.

GOP talking points worth revisiting part 35:
“Universities are liberal strongholds.”-
College is often the first time young adults live on their own, and a time when they form their own views. Universities have education readily available.

All these students are doing is putting 2 and 2 together.

GOP talking points worth revisiting part 34:
“Trump was just joking about being a dictator.”-
Just like he never heard about Project 2025. The fact is that he’s power hungry and insatiable. If he could, he’d go for world domination and still be unsatisfied.

He is a deeply troubled person.

GOP talking points worth revisiting part 33:
“ICE is only arresting criminals.”-
ICE is known to have daily quotas that they must fill. The numbers on these vary, but they are high enough that they would be impossible to fill with only criminals. As a result, they get the rest by racist profiling.
