Respectfully disagree. Of course he should play. We should celebrate and cherish these last moments together. He is one of our own. Not oust him and be petty. I think you can understand how complex these things r when they play out when in public and why he chose this approach.

Turning your back on a player in spite is not the way to go. Instead he should be shown more love and be reminded of what he is going to miss (should he leave). Not be hounded out because "No player is bigger than the club" BS.
