Maui girl. Ok, not girl anymore, now a senior citizen. I love my dog Tama.
Chimichangas, or Hot Pockets. Big bag of Mandarin Oranges. Oh, I just got an electric bike from there, for $499.99.

We used to use Costco a lot more when the kids were younger. Now I mosty just use it it fill my gas tank.

Happy New Year's from Tama-chan!

Agree, that they are not interested in the truth. I showed someone a meme about Kamala he was spreading, was a false quote, thinking he'd retract it. He said he wouldn't cause it was something that she would say. He wasn't stupid, he was a doctor.

We have to solve this issue of providers like DaVita and Fresenius gaming the system for Medicare money. Only then can we truly expand Medicare into everything else like vision, dental and hearing, and Medicare for everyone below 65.

Dialysis is sucking tons of money out of Medicare. Even Trump addressed it. His solution wasn't to increase the transplant rate, but to move everyone out of dialysis centers into home dialysis. But I know the dialysis centers were always pushing that, cause they owned the home dialysis machines too.

My hubby had kidney failure and needed dialysis. That's when I learned that ESRD, End Stage Kidney Disease was the one specific disease exception to getting on Medicare before age 65. This podcast explains why that is.

What I did realize on my own was that I had to teach myself about living donors.
December 11, 2024 at 10:22 PM
The result is that 2 large companies, DaVita and Fresenius, have bought out all the independent dialysis centers because Medicare is a cash cow. They provide the bare minimum requirements to inform patients about kidney donation, because curing the patient does not help their bottom line.

Have you listened to the 10 part podcast called "The Great Social Experiment?" It's about Medicare being used as Universal Healthcare for one disease.. End Stage Kidney Disease. It's an eye opener how that one experiment, still happening today, got mucked up in the system.

Dems are too fractured. Leadership did not show enough support for Palestine, so some stayed home. Biden allowed too much drilling, so some stayed home. Too much appeasing to Republicans, so some (and those Republicans too) stayed home. We don't know how to hold our nose and win.
I'm just guessing.

Totally agree. One of the meds my hubby needed, even with insurance, the local CVS was going to cost $360 for a month's supply. GoodRx was $200-something. Amazon Pharmacy was $100-something.

Cost Plus? $53.

The whole thing is so nonsensical. Thank goodness for Mark Cuban's Cost Plus.
December 6, 2024 at 9:04 PM
I totally mean it too. Now that I'm in the muck of Medicare and finding ways to afford meds for my hubby's transplant, Cost Plus was truly a blue sky in the sea of stupid drug prices. I don't have to go to Canada, cause I can go to Cost Plus. It's obviously not a part of the blood sucking show.

Thank you Mark! Every little bit counts. You have helped me save money on my hubby's meds. I hope hospitals can also save money with Cost Plus and be less of a money pit.

The whole healthcare system has become a money pit for its users. Pharmaceuticals and Insurance companies are sucking us dry.

It also reveals the real reason Joe didn't run in 2016. Not only was he heartbroken for Beau, he was also in the middle of dealing with Hunter crashing.
December 4, 2024 at 1:51 AM
From the Devon Archer transcripts (the guy who worked with Hunter at Burisma and summoned to testify by James Comer), Hunter relapsed when Beau died. Nobody ever brings that up. It baffles me that none of the Dems on the committee mention it.

Here's Tama, all dressed up for the obon dance this past summer! According to Wisdom Panel, he's 87.5% Maltese and 12.5% Mini Poodle.

Dog: "Ok then..." and goes to pee on the bath rug..
November 30, 2024 at 3:31 PM
Yeah, I was thinking the same. I know Nina has been talking about this for years now. I guess it just took a long time to go from experimental to status quo.
November 27, 2024 at 6:03 PM
That means you have an under-sized amygdala in your brain.
November 27, 2024 at 4:37 PM
Tama does that, too. It means, "Feed me," or "I gotta go pee.."

He also licks my nose to wake me up.. cause he's impatient.

Both the US and Israel are going through some growing pains these days. It's hard to support either of us, when we see the leaders we pick.

We are just going to have to endure Nettenyahu.. and Trump, for a while. I hope Palestine survives this. I hope Ukraine, too. History has its eyes on them.

I agree! I've read that if we could see the full extent of the Andromeda Galaxy, it would be 6 times larger than the moon!

I would love to get a real astonomy camera. I only have my pixel cellphone. I did catch a smudge of the center of Andromeda with it, and I got so excited to see the smudge!

My hubby got a prescription that was going to cost $360 at the local CVS. Then I checked GoodRx:$200-something. Then I checked Amazon Pharmacy: $100-something. Then I checked Cost Plus.

$57.

Thank you Mark, for creating Cost Plus. Yes, we need more people like you.
