In my 6th grade Texas History class we were given an essy assignment to write anything about TX History. I choose to explain why the state sold that tiny part of the panhandle to Oklahoma. (Slavery) I was given 2 days of in-school suspension. Best 2 days of my 6th grade year !

I can honestly say that it's extremely discouraging just walking though my VAs parking lot and seeing the bumper stickers /flags and such. Then to walk in and see the hats and shirts. I feel so bad for the employees. And you are correct, it's made me find some of those services elsewhere.

That's what most people think about redrawing district lines (gerrymandering) too. It's not that significant...until it's exploited and used against you. It might be small and insignificant but it's still a weakness. At this point I look for things that either party can abuse. Because they will

And you're OK with the fact that it could. We also once used covered wagons to navigate and build this country. Then came the automobile. Why? Because they were old and outdated....just like the EC

Please tell me all about faithless electors. Then explain- why we even have that term- how it's OK for then to cast a bogus vote, pay a fine and carry on like nothing happened (assumeing that state actually HAS a law against it)
