It doesn't help that there are many in the younger generations that really haven't been taught ANYTHING about the world that preceded them. How things work, how things get made, what things have already existed. That's why they tend to rename existing concepts like they discovered them.

People have short memories, modern online life rots brains, and most importantly, companies shoving AI into everything has created a culture of distrust. Most people can't spot the telltale signs of AI generated images.

I feel your pain. I've been a 3D artist for 25 years and my work has reached a level of fidelity and some people think it's AI. It's frustrating.
