ROGUE LIGHT DECK BUILDER - a game about building a deck for husband. The mechanics are extremely simple, and I quite enjoyed it when I wasn't giving myself a massive risk of carpal tunnel. Achievements are mostly milestone based, with a few dedicated to speedrun times. Took me just short of 6 hours.

BRAZILIAN DRUG DEALER 3: I OPENED A PORTAL TO HELL IN THE FAVELA TRYING TO REVIVE MIT AIA I NEED TO CLOSE IT - fun initially, but the saves are manual, and once I lost my spot in the campaign I just used the level select. Most of the achievements are finding secrets on levels. Took me about an hour.

FACEMINER - incremental game about building up an AI data harvesting program while managing computer hardware demands and utility bills. It does require multiple playthroughs, and Endless Mode has a bit of a grind, but most achievements are not hard. Took me about 15 hours.

Post Void - psychedelic first-person roguelike about,,,growing a flower or something. Seems tough initially, but once you know what you're doing, it's not that hard to get through. The average run is short, with 11 levels I managed to beat in under five minutes. Took me 2 and a half hours total.

Execute - short game about killing the global population with an interface inspired by Windows 98. It took a bit to understand what all I was really doing, but once the ball got rolling, it was pretty fun. Most achievements are easy to get, but beating the game in sub-2 hrs 10 mins is a bit tricky.

Unfair Flips - bit of a gimmicky game, with the goal to flip a coin and land it on heads 10 times in a row. The achievements are mostly for completion (land [x] heads in a row), but there are five unique achievements for the 10th flip that are all %chance-based. Took me 9 hours; my luck sucks.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II - the bad one. Playing through it on release was what finally disillusioned me with the CoD franchise. They then put all the newer games and achievements in the same launcher application. This was uncoupled within the past year, meaning I could truly beat it again.

Vital Shell - an arena shooter roguelike with early 2000s graphics and mechs. For what seems to be the developer's first release, it's a really promising game, and well worth the price. None of the achievements are especially hard to complete, but some grind is needed to max out all the Devotions.

Papa's Pizzeria Deluxe - took way longer for me to beat this than it really should have. It's simple, it's fun, it's Flipline. Game has a few missables tied to holiday interactions, but otherwise mostly completion-based. If you've played Freezeria Deluxe, it's about the same.

And with that, I have reached my milestone of 150 total completions by the end of this year. Feels good.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - the good one. Spec-Ops was still a blast in both modes. Saved the campaign for last, and it was pretty fun too. Nice location variety rather than all being vague Middle East. Missable intel on every level, and a couple mission-specific achievements. Took me 57 hours.

Among Us - been playing this on and off for years at this point. I cannot remember if there's any achievements that are particularly difficult. It's just a lot of milestones to grind. Only setback was finding out Hide 'N Seek tasks do not count towards the total tasks milestone.

Cat Quest II - not a very long game, but not a very fun game to complete. Maybe I was doing something wrong, cause everybody I know did it in half my time. By far the biggest disappointment for a co-op game from a co-op bundle was that it was only local co-op.
December 22, 2025 at 8:44 PM
Thief Simulator - another one of the janky simulator games. Most of the achievements are tied to reaching milestones or stealing specific things. Some missable achievements for Halloween and Christmas, but those can be gotten by changing your computer's date and time too. Took me 25 hours.
December 16, 2025 at 10:54 AM
Rainbow Six Siege - revisited this after about 7 years (last played back during Outbreak), and it honestly wasn't too bad. Half of the achievements were already unlocked, and the rest were either grinding specific kill circumstances or playing as all the original operators. Meat Wall sucked though.
December 11, 2025 at 8:13 AM
Adios - short and sweet story about a pig farmer and a mob hitman. The game is separated into different scenes, most of which have their own missable achievements. They are by no means hard to get, but should you miss any, there are scene reset / select features. Took me just short of two hours.

Order 13 - fun enough gameplay loop, but the horror aspects detract from it. The monsters are big-headed naked guys and more of a nuisance that cuts into your limited time rather than scary. A lot of missable "Complete game without x item" or grindy achievements, but still beaten within 10 hours.
November 26, 2025 at 2:13 AM
V Rising - open-world survival craft games are not a genre I frequent, but this was the most enjoyable out of the few. Game progression flows nicely, with only a few grindy bits at the start and end. Unlocking all the technology was, dare I say, harder than beating Dracula on Brutal difficulty.

I had a witty description thought up for this, but it's eluding me now. Something something, birthday!!!

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - modern Call of Duty campaigns might be overdoing the difficulty, playing through this on Veteran wasn't a challenge nor a constant run for cover. There's missables on every level, so it's recommended you go through it with a guide. Even so, only took me 12 hours.
November 9, 2025 at 12:37 PM
Hotel Renovator - a remodeling simulator reminiscent of House Flipper, but with all the jank and very little that stands out. The plot feels like a fever dream, and a lot of mechanics are ultimately useless. No missables, everything should unlock by story mode completion. Took me about 12 hours.
November 3, 2025 at 7:42 AM
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (Multiplayer) - packaged as a separate game for some reason, for all the modes except campaign. Exo Zombies was pretty fun; Descent is by far one of my favorite maps. Most achievements can be unlocked solo, but two on Outbreak require you to do co-op. Took me 40 hours.

Fallout: New Vegas - the most fun I've had with any Fallout game. This has been an on-and-off completion over the past six years, and I'm glad to have gotten it done before Season 2 of the show drops. Game's good. Really good. I think I'm the only person alive who actually fucking likes Caravan.

Megabonk - another roguelite with the gameplay of Risk of Rain but the XP leveling system and permanent progression of Vampire Survivors. It's a fine enough game, but the novelty wears off after a couple runs, and the humor's either cheap references or dated jokes. Took me about 50 hours.
