Yes! I just said that yesterday when I took pictures of the pups. The colors are still stunning and the late afternoon sun and crisp air were so lovely. Our street looks like that too! We are so lucky to experience this season, even for a few weeks.

Can we have just a couple of more weeks. 🍂🍁

So cute! 😍 These are my pups last year. Sadly, this year their costumes were underwhelming

Sometimes I really miss JoAnn Fabrics. Halloween is coming & I want to make costumes for Augie & Kittie again.

But where do I go to find smaller cuts of fabric? And notions! Then there's shipping & waiting & I like to see & touch it.

Any suggestions? I won't use Hobby Lobby.

I bought instant coffee this week. Since August 5 it has gone up over 25%! I was shocked too! And it was just under $10 in June. 🤬

Last week I got to go to Alaska where the weather was perfect!

I got gorgeous pics & had an amazing time.

Yesterday I got to become a US citizen! 🇺🇸

Today I got a positive covid test result. 🙄 My 1st time. 🫩

I feel terrible that I might have infected someone. Unless they're ICE 😉

They feasted at the bird feeder from midnight to 6 am. I guess it comes down today.

I've been fascinated by @john-in-chicago.bsky.social bird videos & asked for a similar bird feeder for my birthday. It's been up 3 days & my visitors have been a couple of gluttonous bluejays & this guy, a Florida tree rat 🙄

Taking it down & bringing it to NJ with me. Where it will attract bears. 😳

It's July 4th so we're wearing our new bandanas. Between the thunderstorms all day & the current state of the country, there's not much celebrating happening here. If it keeps raining we will be celebrating the lack of fireworks tonight, though. 😉

Of all the things I miss from up north, I miss spring flowers the most. The smell of lilacs, tulips pushing through the last snow, my magnificent pink magnolia tree in full bloom & more.
But most of all I miss the peonies.
Thank goodness for grocery store flowers!
I can't wait to move back to NJ!
