I say this as someone who has taken 6 months of compounded wait, in hold ups, on my biggest piece to date.
I learned what I was doing wrong, and after I did? I just pushed it and finished it.
Narrow the scope of what's to be done, and you'll do more without drowning in what-if's.

Take as much time as it takes -to strike worth to yourself-.
The potential is endless, so it's a poor goal to improve with no end.
Be sharp when setting a goal, and when you reach it? Stop and move on, because a comm order about a char is not a thesis on them.

Imprint what you need in the moment.
