I've seen some genuinely skilled artists start using gen AI (to "speed up the process" or whatever), and it's so disappointing when they do. Once they get called out and they claim they haven't used it in X situation, or they'll no longer use it, it's still so hard to trust them after that.

Seriously thank you for the reminder haha. I always end up getting mine at the last minute because I keep meaning to go to the pharmacy for mine and then put it off...until I remember again.

Also, physical copies can be lent to other people, or sold to used games stores if it's a game you no longer want, so they get a chance to be played again. You can't do that with digital copies, since they just sit in your library.

So I always buy physical copies when possible. I realize this isn't immediately possible for most indie titles. But for major publishers, I love having something tangible. I appreciate the extra design work that goes into the packaging design.
