Though if you make it free and online, you would not have to worry about this! Personally I do not believe in free labor that's just me. But when money is involved you have to think of what is good for you and what is accessible and affordable to the consumer.

Well that is true bigger zines are more likely to be bought but you have to remember bigger zines usually have multiple ccs so it's easier to diversify the market and meet the consumers needs. Solo zines can be a good idea but can you guarantee enough buyers to weigh out the cost and make a profit?

It depends on how many artists and writers you want along with the regular page layout. Some zines only have 8 to 20 pages but that's made with saddle stitches unless you want it bounded 🤔
