I recall have to thank his wife, Martha Michell & Nixon put her through the ringer! The "Martha Mitchell effect" -when a psychiatrist mistakenly or wilfully identifies a patient's true but extraordinary claims as delusions, was named after her. Documentary named the "Martha Mitchell Effect".
