😂 I’ve lived in New Orleans and it’s just as bad there. I’m a French speaker but those mispronunciations don’t bother me as much as the Denver pronunciation of Galapagos!

Beautiful and stupid is the way to describe it. I haven’t lived there since 1994 when I went to college, but I am a fiercely proud St Louisan.

We watched this for a class I took called Film As History. Because the movie was released during WWII, they wanted something light and fun to distract audiences from trouble at home. Tootue is literally the embodiment of death. But she’s cute so she isn’t scary.
