Me and Nessie watching High Fidelity (again) loud (again) to drown out the fireworks.

Its like the Battle of Winterfell out there.

My hair soft-lifted by the winnowing wind...

Got to love autumn sunshine.

Had all these as a teenager, just managed to re-complete the set as my ogs have vanished in Mums loft!

I loved the diy indie scene in the late 80s. Still got all the flexis and 7s they released too.

There is a great compilation CD called Ten Little Records that collects all of the tracks up.

1st day back at work after a couple of weeks off. As much as I am lucky to do something I enjoy, the dread of the inbox, WhatsApps and site issues is a killer.

Great break though, good for the soul. Can recommend autumn Turkey to anyone. Much more relaxed than the 100mph/100°c summers.

Animals by Pink Floyd is a work of art.

Picked this up from @noiseannoys78.bsky.social a few weeks ago and did a vinyl rip for our holidays. Liverpool at that time, wow.

Early Teardrops and Bunnymen, Big In Japan and Wild Swans also. Cheap to pick up too. Highly recommended as a great snapshot of such a fertile place and time.

My one concession to a casual past, love me a pair of Gazelles.

Great picture from the Chester end at Morecambe last Saturday. Chester had just equalised in the 94th minute.

Football is so much more than the Premier League.

Up The Seals in tonight's replay 🦭

*I know pyro is dangerous, illegal, stinks etc but it makes for a hell of a photo.

Walking around the Aegean coast in Turkey in October listening to Mudhoney is just what the doctor ordered.

That and Tramadol for a frozen shoulder.

Slowly working my way through the graphic novels of Alan Moore. Read From Hell and V for Vendetta earlier this year, kept this beauty for our holidays and it is so good.

Any recommendations where to go next?

Still have it. Timeless.

This is a brilliant record. I never normally buy live LPs, but heard a track on 6music when it came out. Its got such a lovely feel for an outside recording.

It makes for lovely late night company.

For once using Virgin broadband paid off. Got my 2 SFA tickets for Llandudno via the Priority app.

By the time my band pre-sale link came through they'd all gone.

God showed me magic I guess!

Holy shitballs. The greatest British band since the Stone Roses.

Fingers and toes crossed for Llandudno.

A new album to follow...?

Gruff tomorrow night in Bodedern first.

Dim probs.

No.1 in a series of 1.

Bootlegs I had to own.

My Bloody Valentine - Before Loveless

A collection of singles and bits from, ahem, before their Loveless album.

My favourite period of MBV is the Isn't Anything era, which makes this an essential if you are not a millionaire who can afford them 12"s

Bought this when it come out after hearing them on 6music. Played it last night for the first time in quite a while and really enjoyed it.

Bits of Guillemots in there, quite gloomy, really hit the spot. Absolutely shocking band name though.

Saw @ynysmusic.bsky.social supporting Gruff Rhys last Friday night and was blown away. Brilliant pop music, really great live band. Can highly recommended this on Libertino Records.

Bagged myself a really tasty brace today down the Welsh coast. Thanks to @noiseannoys78.bsky.social for finding this incredible stuff.

After finishing the really good BBC series Mix Tape last night, had to pull this classic out this morning.

Really worth a watch, the soundtrack is especially brilliant.
