CITY: THE ANIMATION - This is a love letter to the medium of animation. It moves so fluidly and with this very anime snappiness that it's the gold standard of anime slapstick comedy.

WHAT ART DOES: AN UNFINISHED THEORY - When I reached the last page of this, my first thought was "I would use this as a teacher in a high school English class". These ideas probably hit crazy if you don't think about art that much, but it's really eloquently written.

SMILING FRIENDS (SEASON 3) - CHARLIE, YOU'RE BEING PSYCHOLOGICALLY MANIPULATED. THE ANSWER'S BEEN IN FRONT OF YOU THE WHOLE TIME. JUST LIKE 9/11.

GOD OF WAR (2005) - Pretty cool game. Some of the enemy designs are annoying but I appreciate the adventure as a whole.

THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY - This is what I imagine travelling across all of western Europe while blasted on your ass is like. I respect that.

PRINCESS KNIGHT - You can easily see why Tezuka was so popular with the counter-culture movement of his time. There were a lots of times where I thought "holy shit he wrote this in the 50s?"

Despite the weird biological essentialism, his portrayal of a gender fluid character is surprisingly deft.
