Hey FedEx and other corporations that donated to Trump’s campaign (Amazon etc) FedEx applied for 1,000 new H1-B visas through Q3 for Services (IT) how’s that $100,000 new fee gonna hit you? For reference it costs about $5,000 now for a new visa holder that wants to work here..

The most significant takeaway from today's UK trade announcement for me is that for a country that a) the US has a rare trade surplus with and b) had already been negotiating with the US for ~a decade, the best the UK could get was a 10% baseline tariff with very few exemptions
