Learned today that only 5% of Facebook and insta followers see your content, and even less will see it when you grow your following.

Social media is to tattooing like lesson planning is to teaching: you lesson plan so you have something to do at your job, then you spend all day doing your job so you don’t have time to plan for the next day or grade, then you have to spend more time outside of your job to catch up and plan ahead

I don’t think social media marketing can be made easy for small businesses.

Paid ads require specific, different info on each platform (Google, Facebook, Instagram, Yelp). Free posts also depend on the platform. Websites need SEO. That’s not including analytics and new tactics after posting

I’d love to design websites for tattoo artists and piercers. It’d be collaborative, and I work with your budget.

Two practical, actionable things I’ve learned, specifically for marketing tattoo services, are

1. Use your Facebook page cover photo to advertise your business info and any deals

2. Your website should be optimized for mobile because that is how most people will view it.

I’ve downloaded so many of those free marketing technique books. They got me. 😒

At least I’m learning that marketing in 2025 is about psychology. Also I’m looking at ways for introverts to participate, because inclusivity is key and we are not all extroverted.

There’s something ✨magical✨ about someone who is willing to sit down and help you develop a new skill.
