bsky hit the point where they get hate for every update and every decision so guess that means they made it lol

i know it’s fun as a group to hate on the big guy but the big guy here actually isn’t so big and distant and billionaire flavored

actually think it’s a valid approach if they can’t/wont buy influencers and brands in. bottom-up instead of top-down.

even just the update getting pushed through the news cycle might get some folks back over and giving it another chance, maybe if two friends come back at the same time and find each other here they’ll actually stay

those of us who have been here forever probably wont need it but I do think one roadblock to mass adoption is really that people come here and they struggle to build a following list of people they know from other platforms.

i don’t really know where i go from where i am, in a lot of ways, in my personal life. i’ve lost a lot of people. all i really know right now is it takes money to get anywhere, so that’s what im focused on, when i can.
