A few shots from last night's ASH Wednesday dinner. My favorite is Rosemary Herbert and Evy Herzog: Evy picketed the 1968 BSI dinner looking for gender equality & Rosemary crashed the (then) all-male Speckled Band of Boston dinner in 1974 by dressing (& passing) as a man.

A pit stop at Culver's on my way to Des Moines. Caught up on paperwork. Billing has been sent in. Out of office response set up on my email. Tomorrow I catch a flight to New York and spend 5 days hanging out with (and selling books and merch to) my nerdy friends. #Sherlockian

I usually step it up a little bit for #BSI events at the Yale Club. These are from the last couple of dinners and Saturday luncheons respectively. I go all out for the dinner (it's the one time a year I pamper myself).

My personal default for #Sherlockian events (in general, but especially during #BSIWeekend) tends to be between smart casual and business casual: dark jeans, a shirt, and a blazer. As you can see from the photos, people's attire vary.
