The EU must now prioritise increasing support for Ukraine.

Sweden has swiftly reassessed and re-prioritised its entire aid budget.

I urge all EU countries to follow suit.

Building a strong EU economy is paramount to defence, support to 🇺🇦 and our standard of living. We must improve access to capital. More EU countries should put in place a system for savings & investments to free the €11 000 bn sleeping on European bank accounts.

Now all of us need to step up and do more to strengthen European security. The EU needs to act quickly and decisively, and keep supporting Ukraine through robust military support. A sustainable peace in Europe requires a strong, independent and secure Ukraine.
