I called my State representative on Friday and spoke to his assistant. I pushed Marc's plan for state legislation to strengthen voting rights and election security. Assistant seemed a little dismissive. I am going to start calling other state reps in my state. Let's go!

Thanks for doing this journalism. We need so much more of it. And we need to push our (blue) states to pass legislation to require better recounts and audits as per Marc Elias. Statutory right to vote, ban signature matching, ban 3rd party voters challenges to registration, require better audits...

People need to wake the fuck up about midterms. There is no way that Trump and the rest of the republicans are just going to allow a free amd fair election after what they've done so far this year.

They KNOW they will lose big and they are going to do everything they can to prevent that.
