React native, Swift (the coding language), lifting heavy circles, video games, and books
I think Brandon himself said that Stormlight is for when you’ve read a few books and you trust him. I’d recommend Tress or Mistborn for starting. Both are fantastic you can’t go wrong

1. Avoid absolute positioning views
2. Scroll view with a flex grow
3. You can also add listeners to the keyboard for trigger on keyboard events

I don’t think you need really any libraries rn already provided some good stuff out of the box

Exactly, this. It allows a single codebase for frontend to manage, and for the majority of app cases it works more than well. Does it have its drawbacks and limits? Yes. But it’s constantly improving and updating.

I know there is also the simultaneous Handlers prop on that version of scroll view. Tinker with that and see what happens. A lot of these nested gestures are not straightforward and require tinkering to get functioning.

What does the scroll view look like? Are you using the one provided by reanimated or from react?

Idk Bluesky seems to be a strong argument for React at this point. In my experience I’ve had zero issues with it.

This is awesome would love to see more open source projects like this.

I’ve seen something similar before . That package either wasn’t built to support it or something is funky with your npm. Check the Gradle and see if it’s enabled there is step 1. And then also check the documentation to see if Hermes supports Android
