In Yoshi's Island, a cave background sparkles, but only when Yoshi moves. This is achieved in an inventive way by making many 1-pixel "pinholes" in the background through which a field of stars is visible. The parallax motion shows the stars intermittently, creating sparkles.

I’m so close to my body healing from the bs it’s been going through. It just seriously sucks I don’t have the energy I used to.😅
I’m hoping to get at least a fraction of it back. It is what it is though~ I’ll be working out and getting back into shape once I’m cleared. 😤

The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.
