A couple gaming pick ups from last week. As someone who fell in love with the first Death Stranding earlier this year, the sequel is delivering so far. As for MGS3 - couldn’t believe this Japanese premium package showed up in my local shop. Couldn’t pass it up.

We hit 10! A lot sooner than I thought, but still glad I made the goal. Game 10 was Metal Gear Solid. Man, this one still holds up as a goat 27 years later. Need to get back to finishing my top 10 favorite games of all time list, b/c I think this is probably in there.

Wow! I was already incredibly excited for this game, but was not quite expecting these review scores. With how divisive the first game was, it's interested to see this. First game was a masterpiece imo, so I'm pretty eager to dive into this on Thursday.

#9 finished! This weekend I finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Incredible game. Amazing story. Very fun combat. Beautifully crafted world. I’m not even a turn based combat fan and it was a blast. Just couldn’t have guessed where that story would have ended up. So dang good.

Game #8 is finished! This past weekend I played through Tomb Raider: Legend on the PS3. It reminded me just how fun the older style Tomb Raider games were. My only real issue with it was the final boss was pretty lame and easy. Will definitely be hitting up more of the Legend trilogy this year.

Making a lot quicker work of this than I thought I would - or maybe that's b/c I set a goal.
Anyways, #7 rolled credits last week - Darksiders remastered. Love the mashup of Zelda/God of War/DMC. Really felt like a proper PS3/360 era game and I loved that. Can't wait to get into more of the series.

Down goes #6 - #Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. As many times as I'd replayed the PS3 games, like 4, I hadn't replayed this one since release. Loved getting a Chloe adventure and it was still fantastic despite being a shorter game. I still feel like Nadine was an odd addition. Thoroughly this one again.

Let my son have his first gaming experience today. Bought him Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay on the PS5. Just a simple platformer and collectathon. I had to help him with the stick movement but he picked up on the face button stuff pretty quick. He had a blast and it was great to see.

Game #3 finished! This time it's Devil May Cry 3. Have never played this classic series so I figured it was time - and man, what a blast. I can see why it was so loved back in 2005 with it's edginess and campiness and just being bat-shit insane in general. Can't wait to play more of the series.

Couldn’t help myself - had to grab the new Pulse Cipher #Xbox controller. As a ‘90s kid, of course I’ll die for anything translucent (especially if it’s in red).

Built a new #keyboard a couple weeks ago. Really pleased w/ how it turned out - looks, feel, and sound. Went with the Akko 5075B Plus 75% board. Finally used my KTT Strawberry linear switches. Topped it off w/ Glorious Revive Red PBT keycaps. Only mod done was painters tape on the back of the PCB.
