What does „middleclass“ even mean? Probably not the Marxist idea of Kleinbürgertum: owning means of production AND actually work. More like the idea of a bufferzone, suggesting possibilities of social climbing and transcending class barriers as something non-exceptional. Divide et impera. Thoughts?

I didn’t see any „wokeness“-related talking points within the blue campaign. The only groups of voters addressed in particular were the „middleclass“ (➡️income) and women (➡️reproductive freedom). Besides that, privileges/discrim.⤵️ ethnicity, gender & sexual orientation was not thematized at all!
