There is also supposed to be funding for a pilot at Dundas/TMU in 26, assuming council approves it. This is sitting with the strategic planning committee as part of budget proposals.

According to the Sept major project update, peds are included for line 1 and enabling infrastructure will be provided on line 2, but this is in the unfunded part of the project. A report on this is due to the board in Q2 26. So design yes, build maybe.

I will check in the capital budget when it comes out in December. There are many shell games played with things like this.

PSDs are part of the reconstruction project for Bloor Stn with provision to add them in Yonge Stn when line 2 gets ATC.

(2/2) TTC is fond of blaming all its service problems on external effects, notably traffic, but service is irregular even on routes with reserved lanes. Traffic is an issue, but the claim of a 400% increase is a blatant distortion of their own data. stevemunro.ca/2025/11/04/t...

Does this make Trump an inmate of a common bawdy house?

(2/2) Feedback from riders and operators flags problems with crowding, reliability and poor public information, but there is little indication of how these will be addressed.

Depends on which feed the app is using. Those dependent on the Nextbus feed don't "see" extras or off route service because NB can't figure out what they are.

In the tracking data I get, cars do not generally disappear and I can see the layovers. Also missed trips show up along routes not just at terminals.

Yes, I can see the backlog of cars forming in the loop. There was a huge gap in departures eastbound at about 1:30 and that gap travelled across the line to Broadview.

Because of track work in the east end, all cars turned back at Broadview. This made them incredibly early at High Park, but that said there should have been regular departures. Looking at the tracking data, I am seeing long layovers, but fairly regular departures. When were you there?

I will have a look at this, but not right away as the TTC board agenda came out yesterday and there are things in it worth writing up before the meeting.

Typically times vary as one moves away from endpoints. This is a common result of normal variation in stop by stop demands and operating style.

In effect you are asking for the end to end travel times, yes?

Probably the saddest part of this review is that it is even necessary. TTC should be well aware of pervasive problems and address them, but that would mean admitting and accepting they exist, let alone measuring the effectiveness of anything they do.
