Just an old gamer with too many hobbies looking for a mellow place to share my interests with others.
Apparently he was too cheap to check off that this is a gift box.

Funny you can't find your way to Russia.

That's worth burning.

He's got dementia and Alzheimer's on top of congenital heart disease and no doubt he's had a stroke.

The sponge story is a fact.

They had people and mechanical devices to move the water out of those areas. Sure you're not confusing it with Greece? They also had communal crappers where they used a sponge to clean themselves, rather than the left hand, as was done for years before and after.

Roman baths were fed by aqueducts that were continuous. It was constantly changing. Three years of Latin teaches you much more than the language or any history course.

Literally your own comment,
When you have no idea what a word means but instead of asking you just stupidly nod your head in agreement or shake in disappointment based on the tone of the conversation. That's me 24/7

It reminds me of my Uncle's gaming room way back. Although it was a pool table, he owned a bar, so had access to a lot of neon lights, and it all was so organized. Love the turtle wall.

It came out incredible. Good luck on the closet 😁.

I'm still working on organizing. That looks amazing.

Also a damn shame all those black people were sold to Europeans by other black people. Fing fact.
November 23, 2025 at 7:52 PM
By the way. We're not white. It's a mix of yellow, pink and red. Potential. Lololol

I'm sure there is, but as a comic collector, which apparently triggered this, I wouldn't let anyone know if I owned a 9 million dollar comic book. I actually wouldn't want the worry. Way too much stress there.

Considering my father's family grew up in an area called the projects and my mother's family house would be considered a shack, I don't think so.

I'm honestly surprised it hasn't been disturbed in this amount of time. Very impressive in itself.

The reprints were mostly silver age and early bronze age.

I've got a few comics with this same theme. Usually Marvel because they took a lot of the Golden Age super heroes. You can taste the disdain for fascism right off the start. Marvel would once in a while do reprints from the Golden Age. Namor, the Sub-mariner was quite vocal in his thoughts.

But hold on. She's the one feeding her children. I live in one of the houses from the industrial revolution. You worked for the company. You bought your provisions from the company, which always racked up a bill left behind, which kept you living in the company houses. Basically indentured.

Pretty much from the UK, to France and Spain, then going through Italy and spreading to the Eastern Roman Empire areas. Apparently if you lived elsewhere, everything was peachy keen. 🤔 Although technically it's a time frame.
